1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RefConnect, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the service.

2. Service Description

RefConnect is a platform that connects job seekers with employees at companies who can provide referrals. We facilitate introductions but do not guarantee employment outcomes.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information
  • You are responsible for maintaining account security
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the service
  • One account per person; no shared accounts
  • You may not impersonate others or misrepresent your identity

4. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the platform for spam, harassment, or fraud
  • Share false information about your qualifications or employment
  • Solicit referrers to participate in schemes outside the platform
  • Attempt to bypass payment requirements
  • Scrape, crawl, or automated access the platform
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

5. Rules for Referrers

  • Only offer referrals for companies where you are currently employed
  • Be honest about your ability to provide referrals
  • Respond to requests in a reasonable timeframe
  • Do not guarantee job offers or interview outcomes

6. Rules for Job Seekers

  • Provide accurate information about your qualifications
  • Be respectful and professional in all communications
  • Do not submit multiple requests for the same position
  • Understand that referrals do not guarantee interviews or offers

7. Payments & Subscriptions

  • Prices are displayed in your selected currency
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
  • You can cancel anytime; access continues until period ends
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis
  • We use Stripe for secure payment processing
  • Founding Member is a one-time purchase granting Pro-level access for as long as RefConnect operates; it may not be transferred, does not renew, and confers no ownership, equity, or profit participation in RefConnect

8. User Content

You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant RefConnect a license to display and use your content for platform operations. We may remove content that violates these terms.

9. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through settings. Upon termination, your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

  • The service is provided 'as is' without warranties
  • We do not guarantee referral success or employment outcomes
  • We are not responsible for user interactions outside the platform
  • Platform availability may vary; we aim for 99.9% uptime

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RefConnect shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of [Arbitration Body]. Class actions are waived to the extent permitted by law.

13. Governing Law
